Lead Architect Information Management - Solution Architecture & Standards

The Challenge The purpose of this job is to set and implement agile and flexible IM Architecture and Standards to meet IM-strategy and long term business strategic goals. You will manage the standards, design and usage of Information, Technical and Application Architecture to meet the analytics and reporting needs of SABIC that lead to solutions that provide trusted information. Aligning the different components of IM to enable rapid and effective deployment of trusted information solutions is in the job as well. The Lead Architect is the gate keeper – from architectural point of view for IM – for two or more Global Transform Projects. More in detail you will / are: Identify gaps between the current and desired future IM state that meet the strategic goals of SABIC. Drive Roadmap development to achieve the desired future state. Responsible for Information, Technical and Application Architecture, structure information in an effective way to meet functional and business need in alignment with SABIC strategic goals. Responsible for setting IM Information, Technical and Application Standards that meet SABIC’s strategic goals in alignment with IT standards while enabling rapid and effective solution design. Ensures that agreed IM Architecture & Standards are implemented and maintained. In case of violations either the architecture or design will be adapted. Participate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure solutions are designed and delivered with long-term strategic focus. Strategic view of technology roadmap vendors and capabilities for IM. Influence the Information, Technical and Application design, standards and governing processes. Support to the definition, challenge and validate new IM business cases to ensure best use of capital. Manage alignment and cooperation between business stakeholders (L4&L5) and Solution Architecture and Standards services SME's in demand management and project meetings. Support audit and provide input to project-proposals and designs with a focus on technical interdependencies and synergies. Establish the application life cycle management process and standards to be used in alignment with program and project management methodology. Develop high level target architecture for projects and programs and ensure that prior testing the AS Build is reviewed and approved to guarantee alignment with prior approved high level design and solution and architecture standards. Your Profile Master's Degree in IT or Engineering, or in a Commercially oriented discipline. 15 Years of IT experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. IT Experience must include a minimum of 3 years of ERP experience and 3 years of Business Intelligence experience and relevant Architecture experience. 1+ years of Performance Management Framework implementation experience. Business Process Redesign expertise using LEAN or Sigma methodologies is strongly preferred. Management experience functional and / or hierarchical. As a person you have / are: Excellent project management skills. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent in building global multi-disciplinary & cultural teams and business relationships. Strong communication skills.
